Updated 25 October 2026

Louter Control handles personal data with care. This page explains which data we receive through this website, what we do with it and what your rights are.

Who we are

Louter Control, Commanderij 8, 3155 AA Maasland, the Netherlands, is responsible for processing your data. You can reach us at info [at] loutercontrol.nl. Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number: 27361028.

Which data we process

Only what you send us yourself, through the contact form or by email:

  • name and company name
  • email address and, if you enter it, phone number
  • the content of your message

This website uses no analytics, no advertising or tracking cookies and loads no social media content. Fonts are served from our own server, so your browser does not contact other parties for them.

Purpose and legal basis

We use your data to reply to your enquiry and, if you wish, to prepare a quotation or assignment. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to your enquiry, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

How long we keep data

If your enquiry does not lead to an assignment, we delete your message and details no later than 12 months after our last contact. Data that belongs to an assignment, such as quotations and invoices, is kept for 7 years because of the statutory tax retention period in the Netherlands.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data and do not use it for marketing. The website and our email are hosted by Hostnet in the Netherlands; they process data only on our behalf. Your data stays within the European Union.

Cookies

We only set a functional cookie that remembers your language choice (Dutch or English). This needs no consent, because the site needs it to work the way you ask.

Security

The website uses an encrypted connection (https). Only we have access to the messages you send.

Your rights

You can ask us which data we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted. You can also object to its use, have its use restricted or request your data in a common file format. Send us an email; we reply within the statutory period of one month.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Changes

We update this privacy policy when the way we work changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
